About Equine Innovatives
HaySoakR Our Story.

A father-daughter team of innovators who enjoy solving problems for equine caregivers.

A sick horse  ·  A messy process  ·  A better solution

Built for Trooper.
Made for every horse.

Equine Innovatives began when Jennifer’s horse, Trooper, was struck with severe Laminitis. Since Trooper was going to require his hay soaked for the long term, Jennifer recruited her dad Lee to help find an easier way.

What they discovered was that every existing solution — muck buckets, tubs, nets — was heavy, messy, and hard on the back. Lee went to work designing something better.

Jennifer
Co-Founder  ·  Horse Owner  ·  30+ Years

Jennifer has owned horses for over 30 years and has managed COPD/Heaves and Laminitis firsthand — both requiring daily hay soaking. Her experience shaped every detail of the HaySoakR design.

Lee
Co-Founder  ·  Mechanical Engineer  ·  40+ Years

Lee is a mechanical engineer with over 40 years of experience. When Jennifer described the problem, he designed a solution built to last — industrial-grade tank, all-metal frame, quality wheels.

Common conditions that may require soaked hay.

(Please consult with your vet for what is best for your horse)

Laminitis

Caused by excess sugars in feed. Soaking hay for 30–60 minutes removes water-soluble sugars and can reduce the risk of flare-ups.

COPD & Heaves

A respiratory condition triggered by dust and mold spores in hay. Soaking hay eliminates airborne particles before feeding.

Obesity / Prevention

Overweight horses and those prone to metabolic issues benefit from reduced sugar intake. Soaked hay is an easy way to manage dietary sugar as part of a healthy feeding plan.
